Supporting the Redevelopment of BW Cooper
BW Cooper
The redevelopment of BW Cooper represents a major reinvestment in the New Orleans community. Originally developed between 1939 and 1941, the ±55-acre site is located near the Central Business District and bordered by Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, South Prieur Street, Earhart Boulevard, and South Dorgenois Street.
The master plan outlines a multi-phase redevelopment that includes approximately 410 units in Phase 1, a mix of 1–4 bedroom layouts, accessible units, distributed green space, and a central organizing green. The design reflects a strong connection to the surrounding urban fabric, incorporating smaller blocks, front porches, alley-based parking, and contextual Louisiana architecture.
Projects of this scale require disciplined coordination and precise execution. Concrete plays a foundational role in delivering long-term durability and structural integrity. From foundations and structural slabs to site paving and infrastructure, every phase must align with the overall master plan and phased development strategy.
Redevelopment is more than construction — it is an investment in stability, safety, and long-term community strength. We are proud to contribute our concrete expertise to projects that help shape the future of Louisiana’s neighborhoods.
